Tasting notes: this charwick is a beautiful, lustrous ruby red wine with purple edges. Attractive aromas of tart cherries, truffles, raspberries, blueberries, smoke, tobacco, cedar, and a hint of sandalwood. The mouth is strong, tannins are firm and delicate, and the flavors in the mouth echo the aroma in the nose. Fresh red and dark fruit flavours with cedar, tobacco, pepper and a hint of chocolate bitterness. This wine has a lot of potential. Its elegance, complexity and refinement will show up well over time.
